Kiva.org
- as mentioned on my home page, this is an organization that
facilitates business loans to [very] small businesses in
underdeveloped areas of the world. All the relevant
information is on their web site -
their site. Many people including me have loaned small
amounts to many people who are working hard to improve their way
of life for their families. It is a way to help a few
people who would not have access to small loans without this
organization. Please check it out and consider making a
loan or two...

Sax on the Web
Sax on the Web is a great area for
anyone playing sax or thinking about the saxophone as an
instrument to play. Instructional material has
been posted by a number of people and the forum is the largest
saxophone discussion group on the web.
Sax Shed
This site has a ton of stuff that players can use for practice
material.
Marc Sabatella has put an awful lot of work into his 'A
Jazz Improvisation Primer' which can be found on his
web site by clicking
here. For those looking for material at an advanced or
beginner level of improvisation, this site is well worth a
visit.
Tim Price
Tim Price has been
very helpful to sax players for many years now and this site has
numerous free publications by Tim that will keep learning fun
and interesting. If you're looking for something to
practice, the material here will keep you in the shed for a
while. Also see Tim's own web site

Pete Thomas has
put a lot of material relating to jazz theory on his web site.
This is material that he used as a basis for a jazz theory
course that he conducted at Southampton University in England.
Great stuff, check it out
here.
